Well-Child Care Examinations
Well-child care exams are essential for monitoring your child’s growth and development. These routine check-ups allow us to track milestones, administer vaccinations, and address any concerns you may have about your child’s health.
Routine Exams
The well-child visits typically begin shortly after birth and continue through adolescence, with the frequency of visits varying based on the child's age.
For infants, visits are usually scheduled at 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, and 12 months, followed by annual appointments thereafter. During these examinations, we evaluate various aspects of a child’s health, including physical, emotional, mental, and social development. We provide guidance on nutrition, physical activity, and general wellness, meticulously track growth patterns, measuring height, weight, and head circumference to make sure that children are developing as expected. We conduct vision and hearing screenings as part of these well-child visits to identify any potential issues early on.

Special Needs
Parents of children with special needs are encouraged to ask questions and share information during these visits to gain insights into their child’s condition.
Children with special needs may require more frequent visits and tailored care strategies for their unique health requirements. We work closely with families to develop individualized care plans that encompass medical management, therapeutic interventions, and support services. The goal is to enhance the quality of life for children with special needs and help them achieve their fullest potential. This may include referrals to specialists, such as occupational therapists, speech therapists, or behavioral health professionals, who can provide expert support and advice.
Preventive Care
We administer state-supplied vaccinations according to established schedules, which protect children from various infectious diseases.
Immunizations are a cornerstone of preventive care, fortifying the overall health of the children and community by achieving herd immunity. Parents are educated about the benefits of vaccination and encouraged to learn more about proper vaccination schedules and recommendations from the CDC and local health departments. Our practice aims to dispel any myths or misconceptions surrounding the side effects of vaccines, promoting a science-based understanding of their safety and efficacy.
